  • Virtuozzo for Windows 3.5.1 SP1

Symptoms

After upgrade to Virtuozzo SP1, the Service VE (alternatively known as the SVE or the SVE) running public IP address isn’t accessible. Host node is still pingable and VEs all continue to operate.

Cause

Due to architectural improvements starting in SP1l, Virtuozzo no longer supports NAT to a SVE with a public address. Customers can still protect their SVE with address translation but must use private IP addresses for the SVE. Customers may continue to use public addresses for the SVE, but must access the SVE using that public address and not through the hardware node’s address.

Resolution

Either disable NAT for the SVE or reconfigure the address of the SVE to some private address space. To do it please rebuilde SVE with new address.
