Problem

When trying to update Helm 3.1 through the Configuration Tool, I get the following error:

"The Update Service does not recognize this product. Please contact software vendor ....... Error 13001: Product Not Registered with the Update Service."

Solution

This is because the Helm Configuration Tool is trying to use the Installshield installer, which was made defunct some time ago when Helm's own install service came online. You therefore need to install a file which will change the Helm Configuration Tool to point to Helm's install service instead of the Installshield service. To do this, simply download and install the following file onto the control server.

http://download.webhostautomation.net/Helm/downloads/updates/latestreleased/fix/QuickUpdate1.exe

Once done, you will be able to get updates through the Helm Configuration Tool as normal.
